For clarification in relation to the 7v7 game for u10/u11 players the goalkeeper is not permitted to kick ball from his/her hands at any stage during the game. If for example the goalkeeper catches the ball in a crowded penalty area he/she continues play without interruption by throwing the ball to a team mate or moving into open space dropping the ball & passing to any of he’s/hers teammates.
The retreat line is only in operation from restarts & doesn’t need to be implemented by the referee at any other stage of the game only restarts where one attacker is allowed inside the area with two defenders & the goalkeeper.
