As some of you are aware, since April 2020, the FAI Child Welfare and Safeguarding Department have offered an online upload feature for the Garda vetting process.
This enables our Department to receive Garda vetting applications quicker and process them more efficiently.
All contact with the applicant is completed through email, this includes the return of applications with errors and providing the applicant with a copy of their Garda Vetting Completion Letter.
The Department is looking to phase out the postal applications service in the very near future, so we need to publicise this as much as possible and I would be grateful if you could share this with your many contacts in the football community.
