The New LDSL season 2021/22 commences on August 21st with the U 15 grade – as the Kennedy Cup is provisionally booked for an early September start date, in order to give the players some game time we are bringing them back first.
- – August 21st Sat U 15,
- – August 23rd Mon U 16,
- – August 28th Sat U13,
- – Sept 1st Wed U 14.
- – Sept 4th Sat U 9 ,U 12, U 14, U 16.
- – Sept 11th Sat U 8, U 10
- – Sept 18th Sat U 7, U 11.
This season, in all grades of football, from from u12 to u16 – the teams who finishes in the top four in the league will play off for the league with 2 semi – finals and a final. Semi – Final draw is 1 v 3, 2 v 4 with a draw to take place for home venue for final.
In the under 12 grade all divisions will have a new trophy called a league/cup In this trophy where you have 8 teams after the 1st round of the cup the four winners play on for the cup, and the four losers play on for the plate trophy. The final will be played home and away. The league cup and plate trophy will have winners and losers medals. The under 12 league and divisional cup will also take place.
Requests from clubs for coming season must be sent to the fixtures sec before July 19th. via club secretaries.
Closing date for teams entering the league is July 19th.
Clubs entering under 7,8,and 9 must do so by July 19th, their season is Sept 4th to end of October, and recommencing April 2nd to end of June. Clubs may add extra times for u7, u8, and u9 before March 26th 2022.
