Its great to see clubs and young players back training, to see some form of normality return to the players and clubs. We just wanted to give a quick update on the LDSL’s plan for the rest of the season, it will be our intention to continue with fixtures for the kids this season, once it is announced by the government and FAI that it is possible to do so. While it may not be possible to run a full league campaign we are confident of running a divisional cup format which will see each club play a number of games between the date of returning to competitive football matches and our proposed finished date of the 26th of June. With this in mind we would ask all clubs that are still holding League trophies and cups to get them ready to return to the league in the next week. We will notify you of a time and date at which point they can be returned.
