Day 3 – Kennedy Cup – Qtr. Finals Draw – 12.06.2024 – Trophy v South Tipperary 4pm, pitch 2 UL.

Day 2 in the Kennedy Cup produced mixed results for the LDSL Squad. Coming back from one behind versus Dundalk in our first game, our no. 9 Rian Hanrahan Stewart grabbed a brace in the 29′ & 54′ to secure our second win. However, in our third group game later in the afternoon, Wexford grabbed an early goal in the 6′ minute. Try as we could and with chances, LDSL couldn’t take back top spot in the group, finishing on 6 points and second place. The squad now progress into the quarter final of the Bowl where they have been drawn versus South Tipperary on pitch 2 at 4pm on Wednesday. So, once again, we seek the support for the group as they try to overcome a stiff challenge.
