Hope all is well. We have an opportunity to deliver the Fai Coach Education PDP 1 Course online during October, November and December. The courses will be on Zoom.
Some example of deliveries and time tables below.
We have trialed 2 delivery styles;
- Delivered on a Saturday from 9:30 – 15:00.
09:30 – 10:45 Introduction, PDP plan, what is football.
10:45 – 11:00 Break
11:00 – 12:30 Role of the coach, skills required, coaching practice planning
12:30 – 13:00 Lunch
13:00 – 15:00 Video of practical sessions, coaching practice design and presentations, characteristics, reflection and finish.
- Delivered over 2 days (3 hours each).
DAY 1:
18:00 – 19:15: Introduction, PDP plan, what is football.
19:15 – 19:30 Break
19:30 – 21:30 Role of the coach, skills required, coaching practice planning
DAY 2:
18:00 – 19:15: Review of Day 1, Video of practical sessions, coaching practice design
19:15 – 19:30 Break
19:30 – 21:30 Coaching practice Presentations, characteristics, reflection and finish.
We feel the second delivery style has worked best but first style is ok too.
Cost to clubs and the public remains at €45 per person
